Breakwater Festival

Breakwater Festival is an exciting new addition to the Wexford Festival scene running from the 1st – 11th of August 2024.

Concerts will take place in a 2,500 capacity big top, circus-style tent in Ferrybank during the course of the August bank holiday weekend and the following weekend.

A unique location, the festival site is almost flanked by water on three sides and the big top will certainly look spectacular across the river from town.

Breakwater is promising a diverse and interesting line-up and that is certainly shaping up to be the case!

Dec Pierce will take his Block Rockin’ Beats to the big top on the Saturday night of the August Bank Holiday weekend.  After his performances at Spiegeltent and Park Live, this promises to be a Saturday night party not to be missed.

The Wolfe Tones have enthralled generations of Irish music fans around the globe in their own unique style and are now set to enthral audiences at Breakwater Festival.  Tickets for their opening night show sold out in 10 minutes and so, due to demand a second show is taking place.  Having announced their retirement after 60 legendary years, special performances at Breakwater Festival will be a magnificent way to wind down a glittering career of arguably the world’s most loved balladeers.
