The Wexford Spiegeltent Festival is delighted to host a night of Wexford’s local talent. This show promises to be a spectacular illustration of Wexford’s musicians, singers and songwriters.

JaXson

JaXson is the brainchild of Wexford singer-songwriter Luke Jackson.

After years of gaining experience, Luke began rehearsals with a new session band and released himself as JaXson in January 2017.He played his first shows in Whelans, The Workmans Club and The Bowery impressing music industry personnel along the way. JaXson will take to the stage at this year’s Canalaphonic Festival in Dublin in late September and is planning a massive show for the Spiegeltent Festival. He also impressed at this year’s Waterford Harvest Festival, where he was named as one of the ‘Ones to Watch’.
His wild live performances have helped him burst onto the Irish music scene and he is releasing his highly anticipated debut single ‘All I’m Fighting For’ in October. The single was recorded and mixed by renowned producer, Darragh Nolan at Asta Kalapa Studios in Gorey.

Niall Cash

Niall Cash is a singer-songwriter from Wexford Ireland, currently studying songwriting in BIMM Dublin.

He was nominated as ‘Best Solo Male Act 2015’ for Pure M Awards and has been playing in venues such as The Button Factory, Whelans, The Workmans Club, The Ruby Sessions and The Bello Bar and featured in this years Electric Picnic.
Gathering a band behind him for his debut EP he developed his music into a folk/pop sound, gathering influences from the likes of James Bay, Ben Howard and The Coronas. In May 2016 he then released an EP called ‘Frames Have Cracked’ which peaked at number 1 in the Irish singer-songwriter charts on iTunes.

 

Fit for Kings

Fit For Kings are a 5 piece indie rock band from Wexford, Ireland.

Influenced by a variety of bands from 21 Pilots to The 1975, FFK have honed their sound with catchy melodies and energetic live performances. Since forming they have received accolades such as 98FM’s artist of the week, entered playlists across Irish radio, as well as becoming beats Play Irish Artist of the Week on multiple occasions. FFK are on the rise and optimistic about 2018!

 

Megan-Kate Doolan

Megan-Kate Doolan is a Wexford singer-songwriter and frequent busker on the Main Street.

Megan is no stranger to the stage having opened for acts such as Mundy and Aine Cahill. Earlier this summer she released her debut single Falling, produced by Irelands’ Ryan O’Shaughnessy. Her 4 track EP is due for release in September 2017 and was recorded at Orchard Recording Studio.

 

Rachel Grace

Rachel Grace is a 15 year old singer songwriter from Wexford.

She started performing at 10 years of age and is well known around Wexford and further afield as of late. She released her EP ‘Song For You’ in 2016 and is hoping to release a 2nd E.P in the next year. She has recently opened for several artists such as Wallis Bird in July and Don Mescall for multiple shows in August.
