New Weekly Series – Behind the Curtain
While you settle in your seats and the anticipation mounts for the performance you’re about to behold, there is a dance that has been happening behind the scenes throughout the days, weeks and months before you arrived. Even during the performance there are several vital tasks that come together to make the show a success, and these tasks often go unnoticed by the audience.
It is these ‘behind the curtain’ performers that has inspired our new upcoming weekly series at Lantern Presents. In the coming weeks we are going to feature a local individual or company that contribute in their own unique and specialised way to the success of our various festivals and events throughout the year. From production, lighting, security, to set & costume design, stage management and back of house we will be asking the questions you’ve always wanted to know; including the weirdest rider request to date.
